MITECO Kneževac has The permit for collection and transport of non-hazardous and hazardous waste in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, as well as Permit for storing of non-hazardous and hazardous wast.

Recognizing the significance of doing business in compliance with internationally recognized ISO standards in providing services, MITECO has completed the following certifications:

quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standard, in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness of its processes, achieving credibility in fulfillment of legal, contractual and other commitments, as well as identification of the needs and expectations of users and other stakeholders and satisfaction thereof through effective and efficient implementation of the system and increasing the service level;
environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001: 2015 standard, in order to prevent environmental pollution by managing company services and processes that directly or indirectly affect the environment, achieving effectiveness in the area of environmental protection and readiness of the company to respond to certain risks and potential emergency situations;
occupational health and safety management system in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 standard in order to translate uncontrolled hazards, to the greatest extent possible, into a controlled risk and to, through prevention of incidents, prevention and decrease of work related injuries and improvement of work conditions, ensure unobstructed operations of the company with continuous increase of ethical and social level of the organization.
