You are legally bound to hand over any PCB oil to an authorized person for collection and treatment. The law requires you to provide a location for storing waste oil until handover. Due to the severe consequences it can cause, the release of PCB oil into the environment and the mixing of PCB waste with other types of waste is prohibited.

By retaining PCB oil you increase the legal risk of being liable for environmental contamination and endangering human health for generations. Why not make your job easier and let us handle your PCB oil?

We receive PCB oil and handle it in accordance with the highest technical standards, applying all necessary measures for control and prevention of leakage, spillage or contamination of other materials. We provide final disposal of PCB oil by incineration in authorized plants.

For materials with transformer oil contamination of up to 1500 ppm, we decontaminate them using a de-chlorination process in a mobile facility, confirmed to be the best available technique (BAT) and best environmental practice (BAP).

Let us handle your PCB oil through our successful and environmentally responsible methods of hazardous waste management.

Cost-Effective Handling of PCB Oil

For you, PCB oil is a cause for concern. For us, it is a task we can rapidly and successfully resolve. We dispose of waste oils and conduct decontamination without any impact on people or the environment.

Our service covers:

  • Affordable disposal prices for PCB oil
  • 100% responsibility taken
  • Professionalism and reliability in transport and recycling
  • Treatment in accordance with legislation
  • Waste stream management to disposal, with preservation of the environment
  • Experience in recycling PCB oil.

We take responsibility for managing your waste oil, including transport and treatment.

How We Treat PCB Oils

We handle PCB oil at an affordable price with all necessary transport permits (including oversized cargo) and treatment.

On receiving PCB oil on site, we transfer it into UN-certified metal drums, pack it and temporarily store it.

We decontaminate waste oil using the best available technique (BAT) and best environmental practice (BEP) of de-chlorination in a mobile plant. We de-chlorinate oil with PCB content ranging from 50 to 1500 ppm.

We hold all the necessary permits, and we collect, store and treat PCB oil, keeping all records. We register the precise quantities collected, stored or treated. We provide final waste disposal and submit the relevant data to the Agency, in accordance with the law

Our procedures and instructions can simply be integrated into your own quality management, environmental protection and occupational health and safety systems.

Hazard of Release or Spillage of Waste Oils into the Environment

PCB compounds are persistent organic pollutants, or POPs. The Stockholm Convention ranks them among the top 12 most dangerous prohibited organic compounds (The Dirty Dozen). PCB compounds have all the worst characteristics of hazardous waste, not only on account of their toxicity, but also biohazard properties and their carcinogenic, teratogenetic and mutagenic effects that can lead to problems with the immune system, central and peripheral nervous systems (by indirect ingestion through food). Because of their negative impact on human health and biosystems, they carry a severe risk of pollution for the environment, water, air and land. Inadequate and risky handling and management of such waste is one of the key problems in environmental protection.

The law strictly prohibits the release or spillage of waste oils into the ground, sewage, surface or ground waters, precisely because of their hazardous long-term impact on the environment and human health. The law prohibits the mixing and storage of used PCB oil with other types of waste and regulates the release of waste oil processing residues.

According to the rulebook, devices containing PCB and any premises housing such substances must bear a clearly visible, regulated, damage-resistant sign.
