Head of the EU accession negotiation team of the Republic of Serbia Mrs. Tanja Miščević stated that representatives of the European Commission emphasized that the Republic of Serbia has regulations it can be proud of, however, implementation of the same is a totally different situation.
Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Mr. Aleksandar Vesić added that the post-screening document contains answers to the questions raised by the European Commission after the screening which took place in November of last year in Brussels.
State Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Mrs. Stana Božović said that the document covers 10 areas: horizontal legislation, quality of air, water management, waste management, industrial pollution, noise, climate changes, protection of nature, chemicals management, but also the time schedule for financing. She reminded the present auditorium that the forming of a Green Fund is expected in September.
Director of the Sector for Industry and Agriculture of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Serbia Mr. Ješa Erčić pointed out that included in the team of experts for negotiations are representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Serbia and companies which will be implementing the laws relating to Chapter 27.
