World's Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management – IFAT (the International Fair Trade Association) was held from May 30th to June 3st 2016 in Munich. The Fair gathered more than 3,000 exhibitors from over 55 countries and welcomed the record number of 135,000 visitors.

Numerous representatives of waste industry in Serbia traditionally visit the prestigious fair, and Serbian companies are among the exhibitors. The Miteco company employees visited the IFAT, as they did the last year, and on that occasion they were acquainted with the innovations in the waste management business.
Meetings were held, experiences exchanged and the agreement on future cooperation was reached with the aim of connecting and improving the Miteco company business with other companies from the region.

The World's Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management – IFAT also celebrated its 50-year jubilee this year. The fact that the number of visitors and exhibitors increases every year proves that the Fair is becoming a strong platform for exchanging opinions of the waste industry representatives from the whole world and establishing cooperation between different companies in this field. In addition to Munich, fairs under the IFAT name are also held in China, India, Turkey and South Africa.
