EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award
The most prestigious award for entrepreneurial achievements presented in Serbia by the international auditing and consulting firm "Ernst & Young".
The EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2014 was presented to the owner of the company "Enterijer Janković" from Novi Sad, Boža Janković. With twenty one entrepreneurs from ten cities across Serbia, Mr. Miodrag Mitrović, President of the company Miteco Kneževac, was among the short-listed candidates for the award.
The recipient of the award will have the opportunity to represent Serbia at the "EY International Entrepreneur of the Year" awards, which the company EY is organizing in Monte Carlo in June 2015.
An independent selection committee decided upon the recipient of the award for the most successful entrepreneur in the past year. Besides the main award, acknowledgements were presented in sub-categories "EY Fastest Growing Entrepreneur of the Year" which was presented to Ljiljana Živković Karaklajić from the company "D-Ekspres" engaged in transport of parcels and "EY Innovative Entrepreneur of the Year" which was presented to Vladimir Mastilović from the company "3lateral".
This year, the independent selection committee was headed by last year's national winner, Rade Ljubojević ("Sirogojno Company"; EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Serbia for 2013), and among other committee members were Darko Budeč ("Buck" ; EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Serbia for 2012), Gordana Danilović Grković (Business Technology Incubator of Technical Faculties, Belgrade), Miloš Jelić ("Nelt"), Edvard Jakopin (Ministry of Economy of the Government of the Republic of Serbia), as well as Prof. Dr. Dejan Ilić (Varta, EY Entrepreneur of the Year for 2005, Germany), honorary member of the committee.
The winner was chosen based on key factors such as entrepreneurship spirit, financial indicators, strategic orientation, presence on the regional and international market, innovativeness and personal integrity. The award EY Entrepreneur of the Year has been awarded for the last twenty eight years, and it was first presented in Serbia in 2012.
