The panel entitled "The Education of the personnel for the needs of the waste industry in the Republic of Serbia“, has organized as part of a Ecofair-2016, organized by the Serbian Association of waste industry "Brave Cleaner“. On the panel has been said about the dual education, the needs for educational personnel in the waste industry, as well as about the perspectives that it provides, when it comes to the social and economic development of the country.
The panel participants were Mrs Jelena Plavanski, representative of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, Mrs Nevena Colic Mohora, in front of the company Miteco and Mr Dusan Milosavljevic, Director of the Polytechnic High School.
Speaking about the situation in the labor market, the participants have agreed that it is necessary to improve the cooperation between the educational institutions and the representatives of the business sector, but also need to be a systemic solution that the country will support. To young people should be given the opportunity to gain the practical knowledge, while at the same time responding to the needs of the market, especially of the waste industry, which is one of the most perspective branches of the country's economic development. It was announced, that in the coming period in the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce will be organized the conference dedicated to this topic.
Commenting on the current implemented initiatives of the company Miteco, when it comes to the supporting of the education of young people, through the program practices and the case studies that the company has organized, Mrs Nevena Colic Mohora pointed out, that the main objective of the program is to facilitate the youth and provide the support, in order to better prepare for the job market after finishing their education. „The company Miteco in this regard will continue to support this mode of education and acquiring of the necessary skills, which would give to the young people a better positioning in the labor market, the greater availability of the necessary personnel to the companies, which will significantly contribute to the economic development of our country, "she said.
In the spirit of the current discussion, after the panel was signed the Agreement on Cooperation, between the Association "Brave Cleaner" and the Polytechnic High School.
