The company Miteco, the principal donor of the traditional award for a lasting contribution to the culture of Belgrade
″Golden Link″ (″Zlatni beočug″) for 2015, was awarded for the 45th time by the Cultural and Educational Community of Serbia to laureates at the National Theatre ceremony in Belgrade. The president of the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade, Milovan Vitezović addressed the present guests first, and Miodrag Mitrović, the president of the company Miteco, this year's principal donor of the event, had the honour to present special charters to recipients.
″The Outstanding Golden Link for Lifetime Achievement″ was awarded to Duško Gojković, jazz trumpeter, composer and arranger, and Rajko Petrov Nog, writer. The same award was presented to Archives of Yugoslavia, Belgrade Book Fair and Philological High School.
The traditional award for a lasting contribution to the culture of Belgrade was presented to Jasmina Ana, journalist and writer, ensemble ″Tamburica 5″, rock musician and songwriter Momčilo Bajagić Bajaga, writer Branislav Veljković, director Mihajlo Vukobratović, literary critic Prof.Dr. Radivoje Mikić, movie producer Miroslav Mogorović, actor Marko Nikolić. Primary school ″Vasa Čarapić″ from Beli Potok, art photographer and cameraman Branko Pelinović, sculptor Prof.Dr. Dragan Radenović, restaurant ″Madera", professor of literature Dr Boško Suvajdžić, Faculty of Physical Culture and Media, spiritual music festival ″Horovi među freskama″ were also awarded.
Since 1970, the Cultural and Educational Community of Belgrade has been presenting the prestigious award ″Golden Link" to artists, creators, scientists, ensembles, organizations and institutions for a lasting contribution to the culture of Belgrade. The originators of the award were the poet Vasko Popa, who named the award, Radomir Stević Ras and Jevta Jevtović.
