In view of the need for establishing a permanent business cooperation, and with an aim to strengthen the economic, technological and interpersonal relations, an Agreement on Business Cooperation was signed with the Environmental Protection Agency at the regular meeting of the Assembly of the Association of the Waste Industry of Serbia "Hrabri Čistač", held on February 29, 2016.

The Agreement was signed by the former Chairman of the Board of the Association and President of the company MITECO, Miodrag Mitrović, and the Director of the Environmental Protection Agency, Filip Radović, for the purpose of exchanging information and experiences, as well as joint participation in project proposals for national and foreign donors. Also, with this Agreement, the parties have formalized their mutual cooperation with a view to jointly providing adequate assistance to business entities in relation to their obligation of reporting to representatives of the industry who are engaged in waste management, as part of the EU accession process.
Filip Radović, Director of the Agency, expressed his support of the work performed by the Association, stating that this Agreement will cover all forms of relations and mutual cooperation in providing and organizing professional assistance to members of the Association in order to improve and develop their operations.
Aside from the sighing of this Agreement, at the regular meeting of the Association, amendments of the present Articles of Association of the Association "Hrabri Čistač" were adopted, and a decision was made that Chairman of the Association for the next two years will be Slobodan Cvetković, Director of the company PWW from Niš, and Brankica Ristić, procurist of the company Jakob-Becker from Ruma, was elected Vice Chairman.
Adopted also were strategic goals and activities of the Association for 2016, with special emphasis on the problems of historical waste, recycling, landfills and permit revisions, as well as the forming within the Association a work group for the implementation of new laws.
